Fathers Save Lives Seminar — A Day to Remember

On June 8th, 2025, just a week before Father’s Day, I.D.E.A.S for Boys & Men proudly hosted our very first community event — the “Fathers Save Lives Seminar” — and what a memorable day it was.

Held in the heart of Castries North, this interactive and heartfelt seminar brought together fathers, sons, mothers, daughters, mentors, and community leaders for open, honest conversations about the irreplaceable role of fathers in shaping lives and strengthening families.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, filled with laughter, thoughtful exchanges, and moments of genuine reflection. Both men and women present shared their personal stories, challenges, and hopes for a better future for the boys and young men of Saint Lucia. It was a reminder that behind every strong community are fathers and father figures who choose to lead with love, wisdom, and presence.

We discussed topics like positive male role modeling, father-son relationships, and mental health in men. More than a seminar, it became a gathering of hearts — a space where voices were heard, bonds were strengthened, and hope was reignited.

This event marked a beautiful beginning for I.D.E.A.S for Boys & Men. It was the spark that lit the path ahead, confirming that our mission resonates deeply within our communities.
